G4S Shiksha

Continuing its endeavour to bring equality in the society, G4S India together with Hope Foundation has opened a school christened as “G4S Shiksha” for underprivileged children in the NCR.

The school is located in one of the largest slums in the National Capital Region. The intent is to discourage child labour and other unethical activities like drug addiction. Due to a lack of direction and education, street children get involved in drugs, crime, gambling and other such practices. The school presents these children with an opportunity to shape their future constructively.

“Shiksha” doesn’t restrict itself to merely provide education; it also offers associated amenities like mid-day meals, books, uniforms and school bags. G4S also provides the required stationery such as pens, pencils and notebooks for the school.

The school will soon offer a number of recreational and extra-curricular activities like day picnics, painting competitions, clay moulding and paper cutting activities to foster the development of additional skills amongst the children Through this initiative, G4S India aspires to help these children to add a new meaning to their lives and in this way make a small contribution towards shaping the future of our country.
